Figurative work
My early work was mainly figurative. I took a change of direction and started working from studies of my surroundings, where I live and only recently have gone back to drawing the  figure again. I use a variety of materials but my preferred medium is graphite and oil pastel. My more abstract figures are collograph prints, taken from drawings I produced from studies of dancers and musicians in rehearsals. I love the spontaneity of the drawings
